Peace Café, Brac University has organized a three-hour long offline Reflection Session on 9th April, 2022 at the office of the Centre for Peace and Justice, BRAC University.
Recently six of our potential members have joined a three-day long training course named National action plan on women peace and security (NAP WPS) in Bangladesh, organized by Bangladesh Nari Progoti Shongho (BNPS) and supported by UN women.
Based on NAP WPS training the offline reflection session took place which was facilitated by Sayma Hossain, Nuzhat Tabassum, Safa Marjan, and Habib Shefa who previously got the training from BNPS.
They discussed resolution 1325, resolution 2250, and NAP broadly. Simultaneously, different informative facts about the UN plan, Women safety, and security had been discussed. Undoubtedly, the discussion and knowledge-sharing reflection motivated us to contribute to NAP as Youth enthusiasts. In regards to the knowledge Peace Cafe Brac University will plan and implement actions that will support the NAP.
